Introduction by the University of sheikh Abdullah:
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Badri University is an extension and development of the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Badri Technical and Health Colleges, established in 2002 and 2008. It is now one of the Sudanese universities in the state of the Nile River. The University was named in honour of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Badri, who founded the University's buildings from its inception as a technical college and supports it to the present.
University mission
In the light of the University's vision, its mission is to integrate comprehensive quality thinking and continuous improvement into the fabric of the University's educational and research system and to promote the interests of all parties, as follows:

- Integrating a comprehensive culture of quality and continuous improvement in the educational and research process.

- To enrich theoretical and applied knowledge in accordance with the moral, social and cultural standards of society.

- Dissemination of the culture and ethics of scientific research.

- Strengthening cooperation between the University and other universities and scientific research centres locally, regionally and globally.

- Development of educational programmes in the light of local, regional and global standards.

- Provide students with the latest sources of modern knowledge and technology to develop their abilities in innovation, leadership, self-learning, collective work and competition.

- Serve as centres and units of a special nature to provide research and advisory services to society.

Date of incorporation:
It was established in June 2011 under the name "Sheikh Abdullah Al Badri University" in Berber. The University was named in honour of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Badri, who founded the University's buildings from its inception as a technical college and supports it to the present.
