History of Mechanical Engineering Specialization:

Al-Aziz Al-Razaz Al-Jazri (1206 AD) is a pioneer of Arab mechanical engineering. He invented the elastic column "crank," and some of the first mechanical watches that work with water and weights. He recorded more than 60 inventions in his book "Combining Science and Useful Work in the Trick Industry."

He was born in the Upper Rafidain region. Like his father, he worked as an engineer for the Turkish Titans who governed the city of Diyarbakir.
