Private Law

What is the specialty of Private Law:

Private law is that part of the civil law legal system that is the part of public law that includes relationships between individuals, such as the law of contracts and torts (as it is called in the common law), and the law of obligations (as it is called in civil legal systems). It must be distinguished from public law, which deals with relations between both natural and legal persons (i.e. organizations) and the state, including regulations, penal law, and other laws affecting public order. In general, private law includes interactions between individuals, while public law includes interrelationships between the state and the general population.

The importance of studying the specialty of Private Law:

In this sense, private law forms the backbone of civil society. It allows people to thrive in matters of economy, work, leisure, and family (in Aristotle's words: to live the "good life") or make a deliberate decision not to.
