History of Business Project Management:

The science of project management began to emerge at the beginning of the 20th century when Henry Gannett developed the theory of Gannett's scheme, which was the first scientific theory of planning and controlling project activities in time, and became one of the most important fundamentals of project management science.

The Department has been known as a science with its bases, foundations, and schools since the late nineteenth century and during the twentieth century, where a number of research scientists whose studies and experiences have had a clear impact on it have been involved. Charles Babbage presented his management ideas in his 1832 book "The Economics of Machinery and Manufacturers."
