Misr University for Science and Technology is a private Egyptian university established by Republican Decree No. 245 of 1996 based on Law 101 of 1992 regarding the establishment of private universities. The university is an active member of the Association of Arab Universities and the Association of African Universities.

- The study depends on the credit hour system, which corresponds to the number of weekly hours of study and lectures.
