An introduction to the University of Bilecik

It was established by Law No. 5662 and published in the Official Gazette on May 29, 2007 and No. 26536, a. Dr. With the appointment of Azmi Ozkan as President of the University in December 2007, he started his educational activities.

It was established with the College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, Institute of Social Sciences and Sciences under the Department. Dumlupinar University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Osmanli Vocational School, Pazaryeri Vocational School, Gulpazari Vocational School, Sogut Vocational School; School of Health and Vocational School of Health Services under the administration of Osmangazi University; The Vocational School and the Bozüyük Vocational School of the Anatolian University Administration are included in our university.

The name of Bilecik University was changed to Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University by the law which came into force after its publication in the Official Gazette of April 27, 2012 No. 28276.

According to Article 130 of the Turkish Constitution and Article 13 of Higher Education Law No. 2547, our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prof. Dr. Dr. İbrahim Taş has been appointed as the president of Bilecik University Şeh Adebali.

Prof.'s tenure Dr. By Resolution No. 91/2020, published on March 4, 2020, in place of Ibrahim Tash, Prof. Dr. Shkro Baydemir was appointed and began his work with the handover ceremony held on March 5.
