About Istanbul Bilgi University:
Bilgi University is one of the leading universities in the field of education in Turkey. Founded in 1996 by the Turkish Grand National Assembly, its basic principle of education is “not for learning, but for life.” It has been able to create innovative educational curricula in which it has accumulated more than for 25 years and presented it under the hands of the most powerful academics.
Istanbul Bilgi University has occupied its place in the Turkish educational system since its establishment in 1996 by the Bilgi Foundation for Education and Culture. The university adopts the concept of (learning for life, not just for study), which made it one of the best Turkish universities that offer high academic quality education at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.

During its educational journey that spanned more than 23 years, Istanbul Bilgi University has formed partnerships with several universities and international institutions with the aim of increasing the quality of education and research and increasing its ability to compete globally, the most important of which is a long-term partnership with Laureate Education Group of Universities, which is one of the largest international education networks in the scientist.

Currently, the university has approximately 20,000 undergraduate and graduate students, about 1,500 academics, 7 colleges, 3 institutes and 3 vocational schools.
