Introduction by the University of Altinbas:

Altınbaş  University was founded by Mehmet Altınbaş for Culture and Education in European Istanbul in 2008 and received its students in 2011. It was founded pursuant to the will of businessman Mehmet Altınbaş, who believes in the importance of investing in education under the name "Istanbul Kemerburgaz University," which was later changed to its current name "Altınbaş University."

The University of Altınbaş is one of the best places of study for international students, especially for medical disciplines, with over 4 thousand foreign students from different countries. It is also one of the most prestigious international research universities in Turkey, where it has been able to demonstrate its scientific strength through its programs designed for all areas of health, technology and society, which guarantee its students access to the highest level of education with the latest technology. The strength of its curricula and the competence of its academic cadre have also been demonstrated by the University's publications and scientific research, which have led it to gain considerable international recognition, which in turn confirms the University's strength and credibility in education.

The University administration continues to pursue advanced positions at the local and global levels, through 9 faculties, a graduate school, as well as one vocational school and one foreign language school. • The University is a member of the Erasmus International Exchange Programme with the States of the European Union. Altınbaş University also collaborates with more than 270 universities in 40 countries, giving students the opportunity to learn abroad and at the best-selected universities, in addition to business partnerships with 100 local and global companies.
• The University of Altınbaş is also the first Turkish university to collaborate with a German university (University of Cologne) in the development of a Bachelor of Laws program, a distinct and different step from other Turkish universities. Students study for two years at Altınbaş University and two years at the Cologne University of Germany.

University campus:

Altınbaş  University has three distinct university campuses:

1. Mahmoud Bey Campus of Technology (Main): The College of Engineering and Architecture, which is a vital university campus filled with artistic and cultural activities and exhibitions, also houses a large library of international standards with large numbers of books and publications, a health center fully equipped with doctors, nurses and medical clinics, and a center for psychological research and application.
2. Bakirkoy Health Science Campus: It is the largest campus of health sciences in Turkey, with a total area of 40.000 square meters, with the medical school, the dental school and the pharmacy school, the professional school of health services and the dental hospital in order to practice treatment realistically.
3. Gayeretepe Social Science Campus: Located downtown, the campus includes the School of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the School of Business, the School of Law, the School of Fine Arts and Design, the College of Applied Sciences and the Institute of Social Sciences.
4. The foreign language school is 300 AD away from the Mahmoud Bey campus.
