Istanbul Esenyurt University was established in 2013 on the European side of Istanbul by the Yeşilköy Foundation for Education and Health. It is one of the fastest growing private universities.

The campus includes 4 faculties (College of Business and Administrative Sciences, College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Engineering and Architecture, College of Health Sciences) and an institute of graduate studies (Masters and Ph.D.) in addition to two schools (School of Physical Education and School of Applied Sciences) and School of Health Services.
