Introduction by the University of Istanbul Medipol:

Medipol University is one of the best private universities in Turkey and was founded in 2009 by the Turkey Education, Health and Research Foundation (TESA) by Dr. Fakhruddin Koca. It is also one of the most important specialized universities interested in teaching medical specialties and then expanded to include all disciplines, especially engineering disciplines. The university still has a widespread reputation in the medical field, as it hosts an educational complex that includes hospitals for human medicine and dentistry, which contributes to providing real applied education to university students.

The university includes 12 colleges and they are as follows: (Faculty of Human Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, College of Communication, College of Business and Administrative Sciences, College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, College of Health Sciences, College of Education, College of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, College of Law, College of Science humanity). The university is located in an ancient place, distributed between the two banks of the city of Istanbul, where the continents of Asia and Europe meet. Medipol Mega University Hospital in Bagcilar is distinguished by its central location as a giant educational complex, where students receive practical lessons and internships. It includes 4 departments: a general department, a department of oncology, and cardiovascular surgery, in addition to a dental hospital. The hospital also has 470 beds, 133 intensive care units, 246 clinic rooms and 25 operating rooms.
