About the university:
Al-Israa University was established by Jordanian Higher Education Council Resolution No. (257) dated (8/21/1989), and it is one of the first private universities to be established in Jordan. The university is located on the road to Queen Alia International Airport, twenty-five kilometers from Amman. Since its inception, the university has sought to be an active partner in the national efforts to improve the quality of education and to provide a university environment that is committed to providing the best means of freedom and creativity and to graduate qualified cadres who are able to face the challenges of life to take their role in serving the local and Arab community. For this purpose, it has carefully selected a variety of majors. For bachelor's and master's degrees.

The university received the first cohort of its students at the beginning of the academic year 1991/1992 after obtaining a license from the Higher Education Council. During its course, the university obtained general accreditation since its establishment in 1991, with a capacity of (1,320) male and female students, and its current capacity has reached (7,000) male and female students. The university adopts the system of credit hours in its teaching and study in it on a total regular basis in the bachelor's and master's programs. In the academic year 1994/1995, the university graduated the first batch of its students. The university administration does not hesitate to continue developing the university in line with the requirements of the growing educational process, as well as developing facilities for extracurricular activities to maintain its competitiveness.

.The university is keen to secure all facilities and equipment necessary to achieve standards and develop institutional performance. With regard to the current infrastructure, the university provides public facilities that include buildings for the presidency, colleges, laboratories, engineering workshops, auditoriums for conferences, seminars, celebrations, conferences, meetings, lectures, workshops, and a mosque serving Students and employees of the university and the people of the surrounding areas In addition to terraces and green spaces as well as playgrounds, the university will go ahead with the development of its facilities to meet the requirements of the university plans and provide a university environment according to the highest specifications. The university is built on a plot of land of 300 dunams (300,000 square meters).
