Jadara University, a national success story, is now pursuing internationalization within the strategic plan 2019-2023 in terms of classification, ranking, teaching, research, community service, creativity, innovation, governance, leadership, excellence, and entrepreneurship. Jadara University aims to provide quality outputs to the market such as raising the competitiveness of graduates, quality education that meets global standards, outstanding learning outcomes and serving national development through optimal investment of human resources.
Teaching at the university began with the beginning of the academic year (2006/2007 AD), and it received postgraduate students on the first of October of the academic year (2006/2007 AD) in four colleges, which are the College of Literary and Linguistic Studies with majors in Arabic Language and Literature, English Language and Literature, and the College of Studies Education majors in Educational Administration, Measurement and Evaluation, and the College of Legal Studies, which includes majors in public law and private law, and the College of Economic and Administrative Studies, majoring in accounting.
In the year (2007) and with a generous initiative from the presidency of the university and its board of trustees, the university submitted a request to the Ministry of Higher Education to approve it to offer bachelor’s programs, and the Council of Higher Education agreed, so that the university would start offering three majors at the bachelor’s level at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year (2007). / 2008 AD), in the disciplines of: English language and literature, special education, and educational technology, according to the requirements set by the Higher Education Council. The University of Jadara launched according to the vision of its governing councils by continuing to develop new specializations according to the actual needs of the labor market and the local community, and it is still paving this way until now, with the vigor and determination of the university presidency administration represented by its president and employees, its board of trustees, and its board of directors.
